Itinerary

Day 1: Basti, Corsica (BD)

Today, we begin our Corsican adventure in Bastia, a vibrant port city where colourful streets, lively cafés, and historic charm set the tone for an unforgettable journey. We explore the bustling Old Port and wander through the atmospheric alleys of the old town with our local guide. In the afternoon we take and excursion into the Corsican countryside to sample wine paired with a charcuterie board before returning to Bastia via a picturesque local Corsican village. In the evening we will celebrating the beginning of our journey together with our welcome dinner.

Day 2: Bastia to Calvi (B)

We begin our journey in Bastia, travelling through the striking wilderness of Corsica, where rugged terrain meets sweeping Mediterranean views. The road then follows   the coastline, revealing untouched beaches and dramatic cliffs before a relaxing  stop in L’Île‑Rousse, famed for its red‑rock shores and easy-going charm. We  continue along one of Corsica’s most scenic coastal stretches, arriving in Calvi, a  lively citadel town where history and sparkling waters create a memorable stay.

Day 3: Excursion Scandola ang Girolata (B)

Today, weather permitting, we will travel along the Coastline by boat toward the UNESCO- listed         Scandola Nature Reserve, where volcanic cliffs and hidden coves rise dramatically from the sea. The cruise continues into the remote bay of Girolata, a tiny village accessible only by water or foot, giving us a rare glimpse of Corsica’s wild, untouched beauty. Experiencing these landscapes from the sea adds a sense of adventure to the tour, turning the day into one of the most memorable moments of      our journey through the region.

Day 4: Calvi to Ajaccio (B)

Traveling from Calvi today offers a scenic ride through Corsica’s rugged northern coast, with stunning views of cliffs, sea, and mountain villages. Nestled in the Gulf of Porto, the charming village of Porto Ota is the gateway to the UNESCO-listed Calanques de Piana and Scandola Nature Reserve—spectacular natural sites known for their dramatic rock formations and rich wildlife. After an amazing drive through this rugged country, we continue to Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica. Ajaccio is a vibrant coastal city rich in history, charm, and Mediterranean flair. It is best known as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and offers a mix of elegant architecture, lively markets, and beautiful golden beaches.

Day 5: Ajaccio to Bonifacio (B)

Today we drive from Ajaccio to Bonifacio, offering stunning coastal views and a glimpse of Corsica’s rugged beauty. Passing through towns like Propriano and Sartène, the route winds past hills, sea cliffs, and charming villages. Arriving in Bonifacio, perched on dramatic limestone cliffs, we will be rewarded with breathtaking views and a historic old town overlooking the sea. On arrival, our guide will take us on a walking tour of Bonifacio, wandering through narrow cobbled streets lined with centuries-old stone houses, exploring hidden courtyards, and listening to stories of the town’s dramatic history.

Day 6: Excursion to Port Vecchio (B)

Our half‑day trip today, from Bonifacio to Porto‑Vecchio offers a quick, easy escape to one of Corsica’s most inviting coastal towns. Enjoy a scenic drive before arriving at its lively marina, charming old streets, and relaxed café culture—perfect for a short wander, a drink by the harbour, and a taste of Porto‑Vecchio’s laid‑back Mediterranean style. Early afternoon we return to Bonifacio for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Bonifacio to Tempio Pausania, Sardinia (B)

The journey from Bonifacio to Santa Teresa Gallura begins with a scenic 50-minute ferry ride across the Strait of Bonifacio, offering stunning coastal views. On arrival, we will meet our Sardinian local guide who will take us for a stroll through this charming seaside town featuring pastel- coloured buildings and the 16th century Longosardo Tower. After lunch, the journey continues inland to Tempio Pausania, known as the “City of Stone”, a graceful granite‑built town set amid cork oak forests and rolling hills, admired for its elegant piazzas and traditional Sardinian character.

Day 8: Excursion in Sardinia (B L)

A countryside excursion from Tempio Pausania leads you through rolling hills, ancient cork            oak forests, and the granite landscapes that define this “City of Stone”. As the road winds past         rural farms and quiet hamlets, we see a glimpse of traditional Sardinian life before arriving at a welcoming Agriturismo. Here, local hosts guide a hands‑on cooking class using regional    ingredients—fresh pasta, garden herbs, and time‑honoured family recipes—offering  an          authentic taste of Gallura’s culinary heritage. The experience concludes with a relaxed           farmhouse lunch, where everyone shares the dishes prepared together, surrounded by the               peaceful Sardinian countryside.

Day 9: Tempio Pausania to Alghero (B)

After breakfast, the journey continues to the medieval town of Castelsardo, where narrow winding streets lead up to a hilltop castle overlooking the shimmering Gulf of Asinara. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Sassari, Sardinia’s second‑largest city, admired for its elegant neoclassical architecture, spacious piazzas, and lively cultural atmosphere. From here, the drive continues to Alghero, a coastal town rich in Catalan heritage and known for its picturesque harbour.

Day 10: Alghero (B)

Weather permitting our day includes a visit to the spectacular Neptune’s Caves, a vast network of sea grottoes filled with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites, before an afternoon exploring Alghero’s charming old town with free time to enjoy its relaxed Mediterranean ambience.

Day 11: Excursion in Sardinia (B L)

After breakfast, we depart for central Sardinia, arriving first in Nuoro to explore the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions. Next, the tour heads to Orgosolo, known for its striking murals adorning local homes. Today we have a special lunch in the tranquil Holm Oak woods, featuring a traditional meal including Cannonau wine. The day wraps up with a return to Alghero, leaving a lasting impression of Sardinia’s rich culture and flavors.

Day 12: Alghero to Cagliari (B)

Today we depart Alghero and travel to Cagliari. The day begins with a visit to Bosa, a charming riverside town known for its colourful houses and medieval castle. We continue inland to the Sacred Well of Santa Cristina, an impressive example of Nuragic religious architecture. In the afternoon, we continue to Barumini, visiting the Su Nuraxi complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most important Nuraghe in Sardinia.

Day 13: Nora and Cagliari (B D)

The day begins with a visit to the ancient site of Nora, where Roman ruins, colourful mosaics, and a seaside theatre offer a vivid window into Sardinia’s early history. Returning to Cagliari, the tour continues through the historic Castello district, exploring its cathedral, narrow medieval streets, and the sweeping views from the Bastione di Saint Remy. The afternoon is then free to wander at leisure, allowing time to enjoy the city’s cafés, boutiques, or waterfront promenade at your own pace.

Day 14: Cagliari to Valletta, Malta (B)

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Cagliari, soaking in its lively atmosphere, historic charm, and coastal views, before heading to the airport in the afternoon for your flight to Malta.

Day 15: Valletta and the Three Cities (B D)

Today, we explore the historic city of Birgu, one of the renowned Three Cities, with its narrow lanes, fortifications, and rich maritime heritage. Then enjoy stunning views of the Grand Harbour before discovering Valletta, Malta’s elegant capital, filled with Baroque architecture, grand churches, and vibrant streets. Tonight we will dine together in a local restaurant.

Day 16: Valletta and Ancient Mdina (B L)

We step back in time today as we explore Malta’s ancient antiquities and medieval towns. Explore Mdina, the silent city, with its narrow, winding streets and medieval architecture, before visiting Rabat, home to fascinating Roman ruins and early Christian sites. We continue to a local winery for lunch before we visit Mosta, a quaint town famous for its stunning Rotunda Church, which houses one of the largest unsupported domes in Europe.

Day 17: Valletta, Gozo Island and the Blue Lagoon (B)

After breakfast, we embark on a scenic ferry to Gozo Island, Malta’s tranquil sister island, where we’ll explore its picturesque countryside, the ancient Ggantija Temples, and the stunning Azure Window (weather permitting). The adventure continues with a ferry ride along Comino’s coastline, offering magnificent views of the Blue Lagoon and the island’s sea caves, allowing us to experience the beauty of Malta’s pristine waters and rugged coastline.

Day 18: Valletta and Ancient Temples (B D)

Today, we visit the Charming South & Ancient Temples of Malta. We travel through                    the island’s captivating southern region, where we see the prehistoric Hagar Qim  and Mnajdra Temples, ancient megalithic sites dating back over 5,000 years.  In the  afternoon, we return via Marsaxlokk, a charming fishing village known for its colourful boats, vibrant market, and picturesque waterfront. This evening we  conclude our tour with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 19: Farewell (B)

Our tour concludes after breakfast today. Following our farewells, we’ll transfer to the   airport for our onward flight.
